Making Maths Count

Making Maths Count is a programme  set up by the Scottish Government which aims to improve maths and numeracy attainment in both primary and secondary schools. Have a look here for more information:

Making Maths Count

As part of the Making Maths Count public call for evidence an expert group has been set up tasked with identifying which factors can create negative attitudes towards maths, before making its recommendations on how to improve the nation’s enthusiasm for and participation in the subject. To encourage engagement from the wider general public an online questionnaire has been developed to look at how people feel about maths, how they use maths and how confident they are with their maths skills.

The short questionnaire is available on the links below.

Teachers, parents, carers and young people are all encouraged to contribute their thoughts as part of the group’s call for evidence, so please share your views, and pass this link on to parents and young people so they can share theirs too!
