Pirates at Badcaul and Scoraig!

Thank you so much to Badcaul and Scoraig Primary Schools, who invited me up to meet parents and talk about all the fantastic maths development that has been happening this year. It was a great opportunity to learn and share, and the best part was when we were invaded by pirates who commanded us to play maths games or walk the plank!

What a wonderful way of making maths fun and relevant to the children, while involving parents and the community. It was just fantastic to see how confident the children were with numeracy, and how much they enjoyed playing and sharing maths games. I love to see such positive attitudes to maths and numeracy – thanks again for the pirate welcome Badcaul and Scoraig!

Have a wonderful Summer!
